Update 09/05/17. Returned to try it again. The food was very good. The ambience and decor are top notch, also. The owner and staff treated our group professionally and made sure our meals were to our liking. If you are in town you should give it a try.
I enjoyed my visit to Around the Corner. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The salad was delicious and the portions were generous. It is located in the historic downtown Quincy area. I recommend it.
Around The Corner is A Florist that caters to their Floral Customers. Customers get to enjoy Specialty Food Items on a Daily Basis that You do not normally see in other Places. They serve Specialty Items. Around the Corner is NOT a Restaurant or a Sandwich Shop. So if You are looking for ordinary you probably will not find it there. Also remember when ordering Flowers to Inquire with the appropriate Shop in the Appropriate location. They do require notice for Specialty Floral Arrangements. Arrangements made to their standards require time. You should never give reviews on a Business after making one Inquiry phone Call at last minute that does not allow time for a Business to help you or one visit to a place that does not have what YOU personally like. Good Google reviews are only as good as the Intent of the person writing them. Also note the reviews listed below were done prior to A Shop in Quincy ever opening to the public.
Their food is super delicious! The atnosphere is quaint and they offer many different options. I love their salad with chicken, strawberries, and their house made raspberry viniagrette!!! Can't go wrong with this after a show at Quincy Music Theatre!
Ordered flowers for someone who lives 3 blocks from the location and was informed that they do not take orders.
Called this florist to order flower for a local resident who lived 5 minutes from this florist and they said they don't usually deliver to this location. Then asked me if I knew for sure the person was going to be home to except the flowers. The person did not want to work with me so I took my business else where...Very unhappy with the way I was treated...
